Helicopters

The FAA currently has new rules proposed for helicopter operators, including air ambulances, that will require installation of HTAWS (Helicopter Terrain Awareness Warning System) and Radio Altimeters. In Addition to the proposed FAA rule, Heritage Aviation also installs The Garmin G500H Flight Display with Synthetic Vision and the Aspen EFD 1000H. WAAS GPS Navigators, Iridium Satellite datalink, XM WX Satellite Weather, and IRIS (Infrared Imaging System) are other popular upgrades to increase helicopter safety.
