Turnkey Management Program Highlights
Safety - Heritage Flight is ARG/US Platinum rated and WYVERN recommended, which are the two highest safety ratings in the industry. Safety is at the forefront of all operations at Heritage Flight. Because of Heritage Flight's safety record, we have access to more vendors to keep your aircraft flying and cheaper insurance rates.
Flight Operations - Heritage Flight's trained and skilled charter coordinators can handle any domestic or international operation. They handle functions such as flight planning, flight following, dispatch services, charter sales and crew scheduling. Flight Operations also ensures compliance with all FAA regulations. Vanda Crook, Director of Operations at Heritage Flight, has strict oversight of all Flight Operations activity. The Flight Operations Department is available 24/7, 365 days a year.
Charter Sales - Charter sales play a vital role in making sure Heritage Flight offsets the cost of ownership. We have a fully staffed charter and marketing department that is committed to generating as much revenue as possible for your aircraft. Heritage Flight's extensive vendor agreements allow us to explore countless options in insuring your aircraft will fly. Our sales department is contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Crewmembers - Heritage Flight knows what makes a good crewmember. When hiring a crewmember, Heritage Flight considers background, technical knowledge, safety history, personality and compatibility. Each crewmember is not only assessed prior to employment, but on a continual basis as well.
Crewmember Training - Once hired, each crewmember will attend Flight Safety annually for aircraft simulator training. In addition, Heritage Flight requires that each crewmember attend our augmented in-house training program. Heritage Flight also has discounts on simulator training costs. We can save the owner close to 40% of full retail training costs.
Insurance - Due to Heritage Flight's impeccable safety record, we are able to pass on a reduced insurance rate to the owner. Through Heritage Flight you have access to AIG primary and hull insurance. The insurance programs provide comprehensive coverage at a discounted rate. You are charged actual cost for the insurance policy with no mark-up. Policies are renewed annually in May and prices are subject to change.
Pre-Purchase Administration - If you have not acquired an aircraft yet, Heritage Flight is well versed in aircraft acquisitions. Heritage Flight has 20 years of experience in aircraft sales and acquisitions, and can help in any phase of buying an aircraft. We also have an in-house Maintenance Department that can handle any pre-purchase aircraft inspection.
Fuel - Fuel is undoubtedly expensive. The high price of fuel affects the total revenue to the owner. Because of our network of vendors, Heritage Flight has access to fuel price reduction programs and negotiation. We can average at least $.15 per gallon lower fuel rates than most other vendors. This savings is passed on directly to the aircraft owner.
Fuel Reduction and Sustainability - In today's environment, attention to sustainability and fuel cost reduction is imperative to a successful flight operation. Heritage Flight utilizes a fuel discount program that yields the highest savings among all US operators. These savings are passed on directly to the aircraft owner. In addition, Heritage Flight has pinpointed the optimal operation of each aircraft to ensure that the aircraft is being operated in the most fuel efficient manner. Heritage Flight also recognizes aviation's overall impact on the environment. Heritage Flight is actively engaged in a carbon offset program as well as reducing waste as much as feasible on all company activities. Sustainability is a large part of Heritage Flight's corporate culture.
Maintenance - Heritage Flight has a world class Maintenance and Avionics Department. The Maintenance Department is responsible for providing maintenance for every airline and charter company that flies into Burlington International Airport in Burlington, Vermont. They have received the FAA Diamond Award for excellence in training, and they play a crucial role in maintaining our ARG/US Platinum and WYVERN accreditation. Heritage Flight's Maintenance Department will have strict oversight of any maintenance function accomplished on your aircraft whether it is at home, or on the road.
Cleaning and Stocking - Heritage Flight will insure a clean and stocked aircraft each time the aircraft takes flight. At home base, Heritage Flight has line service technicians that specialize in aircraft appearance both interior and exterior. Heritage Flight has the capability of full aircraft detailing. This may include bright-work, fuselage polishing, exterior buffing, leather reconditioning, etc. Appearance is critical to maintaining a world-class product.
Financial Services - Heritage Flight will handle all financial reporting functions of aircraft management. Each aircraft owner will receive a summary of accounts receivable and payable, maintenance work orders, fuel reports and an itemized summary of all costs associated with operating the owner's aircraft. These reports will also be generated anytime per owner request and can be customized to give the owner the information they desire.
Taxation - Each aircraft owner can generate tax advantages though the use of their aircraft. Each aircraft owner can use tax advantage in different ways, thus Heritage Flight recommends consulting your accountant or financial advisor to formulate a tax plan that works best for you.
Depreciation - Depreciation is yet another advantage of aircraft ownership that each owner handles differently. Heritage Flight will provide you with a depreciation primer and urges each potential aircraft owner to consult their accountant or financial advisor.
